Spring is here and I'm a little miffed. I love the warm weather, the sun, the longer daylight hours, and flowers. However, my tulips are being eaten by a certain animal that I really wish I could get rid of. I thought for sure that the tulips I planted right next to the house would do fine...they did last year!!! But NOOOOOO. She had to eat them before they even had a chance to get a good start. So I am sad. Guess I'll be getting daffodils instead.
Mike is reading to Michael right now in the middle of the living room while I watch American Idol and update my blog. I love to watch Mike with Bubbs and listen to their interesting conversations. They lay there arguing about whether the water is cold or warm in the book they are looking at. Nice character sounds, Mike. I am so blessed.
Today was the second day back to work after Spring Break and I am now counting down the days until summer vacation. So many plans are being made including a trip to Lake Tahoe with some friends, weddings, and trips to the park with other moms. March was a quick month, though. Let's recap.
Xavier Hattenburg celebrated his birthday at Pattison's skating rink. Mike and Bubba enjoyed rolling around.
At one point last month all of the neighbors were outside cleaning up the streets and fixing their yards. We even saw a cool hot air balloon. Oh--and here are my tulips. RIP.
Hawk Pics has been very busy! In the midst of the photo sessions last month I was able to take pics of Amanda's daughter, Ashlynn. While they were over we got a pic of Michael, Ashlynn, and Tayla. Such cutie pies.
Mike and I went to the Apple Program Auction where we purchased a remote control helicopter and some dinosaur toy. The helicopter didn't last long....only one day. :/
In planning for another birthday party, we had to find a superhero costume to wear. This is what we came up with. He decided he wanted to wear it....every day....during Spring Break....to Lowe's, Michael's, and to the grocery store. He had no clue that everyone was looking at him...
Carley had her baby shower last month at Loretta's parent's condo in downtown Spokane. It was absolutely gorgeous. Here are a few pics:
Here are a few more tiles I completed and sold:
Bubba and I love to play in the studio:
And around the house:

The last party we went to was for Italia's 4th Birthday at Jump and Bounce.

This month has not started out all that great...at least not weatherwise. Let's hope for lots of sunshine and DAFFODILS!
